What kind of wiring harness and computer do I need for my '86?
The car is an '86 LX. It was originally a V6. All the V6 wiring is still in it.
The HO 5.0 engine I bought for it is from a 1986 Lincoln Mark VII. All the wiring that went to the computer is cut. All the injector wiring is still intact though. Can I use a harness and computer from a '87-'88 Mustang 5.0? Can I use a comp and harness from a '89-93 if I convert to mass-air? Or do I have to get a computer and harness from a '86 Mustang or Mark VII? |

86-89
You can use a 86-89 harness,it would be best to get the 89 harness cause of the mass air but if you can't the 86-89 harness can be retrofitted.
