Post 4cyl fuel pump ?'s

My freind that is helping me build my drag car says the factory in tank fuel pump will wiork my v-8 because I a using a carb. Our thinking is as follows. WE believe the 4 banger pump pumps 85 lph at 40psi or so for the fuel injected motor. My 306 will need 7 psi at most. WE figured the motor will use almost a half gallon at wide open throttle for the 1/8th mile duration. Do think the stock pump will be suffecient. The pump is gone bad so I have to replace it anyways but if the 4 banger pump will be suffecient I will replace it with oem. I have a good stock v-8 pump from the wrecked car. Will that work. Help soon I would like to crank this beast next week, after NMRA this weekend.

Thumbs up

Same Pump. Call advance they will tell you they have the same PN. You can use the pump in tank just make sure you have the return line hooked up or else it will Burn the Pump up.. thats what cools the pump.
