Cool

Some times this is caused but a leak in the exhast system. Check all of your flanges. If it is a welded / home made, check for holes at all welded spots.

Mine pops from my leaks. I've heard cases of mild popping because of an offroad h-pipe. Unfornuately I have both. Right now, my car sounds like the mufflers are going to fall off when I let off hard acceleration. Oh well, the guy before me did all the exhaust, now I got to do it right

Its due to your emissions. most of the un burnned gas is goin back into your exhause and its burning off, that is the popping you hear. if you remove all your emissions then it wont pop anymore. i had to plug some tubes that came off the back of my heads.
