Question At what RPM does the 1990 302 quit making power???

Hey I just got a 1990 LX. It's a 25th aniversary car...neways i was wondering at what rpm does my 302 stop making power?...It's an automatic but for racing purposes I would like to know what's the best time to shift. I'd appreciate an answer. thanx

4800 rpms are peak hp for a stock 5.0, but i believe you can shift around 51-5200 rpm and get good power, anything past that you will slow
