Question At what rpm is Peak HP for a 5.0 HO in a stock '92 GT?

Just wondering.........................

At what rpm is my stock '92 GT's 5.0 HO motor's hp peak? Anyone got a pic that shows the hp and torque curves for this (like a factory dyno graph)? Tach reads yellow at ~4500 and redline at 6000. Where should I be shifting at if I got 2.73s behind a stock motor?

4500 is wear the engine makes peak, so given a few mods, somwhere between 4500 and 5000 shift point.

Default 400-500 after peak HP

You should shift at 400-500 after peak HP for best et's.

A shop out of Madison, WI called performance plus, they race anything from SHO's, to Lightnings, to 10.5" Outlaw cars etc. say a complete stock fuel injected motor should be shifted at 5200.
