ok sorry ackbar i should have said that my car was pulling in every gear hard. but i went and moved my distributer about 1/4 of an inch and it stoped pulling hard like no pull at all now tryed to move it back and still not pulling ( i didnt use a light then )
but i went and set it with a light today and still not pulling could even have ben my timming? thanks oh and when u say ping waht to u mean thanks |
did u check it w/ the spout disconnected?
|
yep checked it with the spout out.
oh and forgot to mention that its really really hard to start just when i crank it over |
Hook up a timing light to eliminate any guessing about where the timing might be at. 1/4" could be as much as 3-4* of timing. It seems that most people run between 12-16* of base timing.
|
ok thanks i'll do that on monday
just one more thing whats the difference between base and advanced? thanks mike |
Base timing is w/o the spout connector.
