I'd get a STOCK 5.0 in it and RUNNING first. Get all the engine swap bugs worked out, then I'd build a killer engine for it. Just my $.02

Is it OK to "third" it?? If you get all the swap hassles out of the way, then it's a matter of "how much power do you want to build".

JUST WHAT HAS BEEN SUGESTED SO WILL PUT YOU INTO THE LOW 12s, One thing to remember, it's a lot more than "just" an engine swap.
