![]() What size bolts should be used when mounting an engine to an engine stand? I know I need grade 8 strengh but I'm not sure of the size.

![]() its like 7/16th 20nf not 100% sure on thread count
or someone has suggested 302 head bolts I read that and tried my spare 351 1/2 bolts and as expected they didnt fit Drudis suggested in an old post that he just used old trans bolts. length depends on the stand fingers though .

![]() I used my old set of ARP head bolts, with some washers to space things out nicely, worked great, and now I have my 429 on the stand with the same bolts. If they can hold that monster, they can hold anything...
