What size slicks?
Well I finally have the money to buy myself a set of new slicks. I am currently running, of all things, Goodyear Stock Car tires for my slicks. They were $30 so I couldn't complain. I have actually seen 1.80 60' times on these. I figure with a real set of slicks, I can do some damage at the track and get my times down even further, and hopefully not break a 16 year old axle!! I am running the same trap speeds as a buddy of mine with my 13.4 @ 102 and he is running 13.1's and 102 with 1.6 60's. Granted we are at 4,100' ft, so our times are quite a bit slower than most people's.
I am trying to decide whether to get the M/T's in a 26x10x15 or go with the 28x10.5x15. I have 4.10's right now, and dumps so I don;t have to worry about tailpipes being in the way. Would the 28" make a big difference with my 4.10's? Not sure exactly which one to go with, so I thought I would ask you guys. Any help is greatly appreciated. Chris
