What size slicks and rims?
I think I'm going to invest in a set of either drag slicks or drag radials. Should I go with 15" or 16" rims, and what size tire will fit my '93 GT that's lowered about 1-1/2"? Can I fit these on factory 7" wide rims or should I go to 8"? I've already turned the quad shocks around, do I need to roll the fenders, and how do you do that?

Go with a 15" rim because you want more sidewall deflection. You can probably fit a 26x10" slick on a 15x8" inch rim. I used to run 28x10.5 MT sportsman on my GT but they're too fragile for street use. They fit right in in. I had to roll the fender and cut the rear panel on the inside. I rolled mine with five fat guys and a baseball bat. Paint chipped a little. The proper way is to cut, pinch, and weld. Can you say $1000 in body work? Don't waste your cash on radials. Get one set for street and then have your drag only tires.

Actually if the car wasn't lowered...i would agree.
But if you use an ET Street or something like that, it will hook hard on the left side and you will cut into the sidewall. I would use the drag radials if you don't want to return it to stock height. A 10 1/2 tire will fit, but won't touch the ground anymore than an 8 on a stock rim. ------------------ '88 coupe...stock as a rock. Check out http://www.burnouts.stangnet.com 11's coming soon!!!!
