What size throttle body should I put on my '86 Mustang?

I'm pretty sure its 58mm now.

These are the other mods I'm also planning.

4:10 gears, probaly a custom cold air intake, dual exhaust(probaly with hollowed out cats), Ford Racing Cobra intake, sub frame connectors, underdrive pulleys, factory aod trans. and maybe some fat tires for traction.

65mm would be the best way to go for you combo, if you want a aftermarket TB.

Can you even buy a 65 any more? Mostly all the ads I see are for the 70mm throttle body, but a 65 would be a great investment, and a good step up.

Motorsport makes a good 65,then there is BBK,Edelbrock, and Accufab,so you have some choices.

Good luck.

Yes you most certainly can buy 65mm TB.

A 70mm would be WAY too big. A 65mm is good to 500hp anyway.

FMS is the highest quality 65mm IMO, plus you get brand new tps and IAC sensors. Can't beat that. Accufab is the nicest looking though. Stay away from bbk/edelbrock. They whistle bad and tend to fail a lot.
