What size tire to use on 15x8 Draglites?

What is the most common size tire to use on 15x8 Draglites? I will be using 5.5 inch backspacing on the wheel and don't want the tire to stick out of the fender. Thanks.

28 x10.5's
or 275 50 15<------not sure on that, but a 28" tire with 10 tread. I'm trying those on my gt

Assuming you are talking about drag radials, the only size offered from BFG and Nitto for 15s that you should even consider is 275/50/15. These are the most common on 15x8s. Here are 2 photos to help you see what it will look like.
