What are some symptoms of a bad TPS?

Could anyone tell me what some of the symptoms of a bad Thottle Position Sensor?

Poor fuel economy, hesitation, loss of power, studdering, stalling. Any or all of those.

my car bucks and jerks with light throttle pressure like when I'm cruising

Usually its a rolling idle, or poor throttle responce

Your symptom is very textbook "bad TPS"

I agree. You should check it's adjustment and how smooth it transcends from idle to WOT. The best method of doing the later is in ohms with a DMM that has a bargraph. If you have one, let me know and I'll walk you through it.

Take care,
