I'm afraid I have some bad news for you guys. While the advertised nominal c/r was 9.1:1, when you added the space taken up by the head gasket, as well as the piston crowns mild dish and the four valve notches, the real c/r is 8.8:1. To bring it back up to an honest 9.1:1, you would need to have the head surfaced .020".

Take care,
-Chris

I agree. Leave it to Chris and you are going to get exactly what you asked for. Of course you will get the little bit of extra's along with it.

Boy, I missed out on people being nice to me today. I never would have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself.

Thanks.

I think.

Take care,
-Chris
