What struts and shocks with Eibach Drag Kit?
I'm got the springs sitting here waiting on install, and am needing to get new shocks/struts for the car. I know a lot
of guys use 90/10's and 50/50's... which is an option that I'm considering. I have also heard of people using stock replacement items with good results. If the stock replacement stuff will work well I will go with it as it's going to be cheaper on my pocket right now. The money is a little on the tight side. Whatever the options are what brand of parts, for the 90/10,50/50's lakewood or competition engineering? If stock replacements, what brands are good ones and were to get them? Thanks! |
I am running Lakewood 70/30s in front and Koni reds on softest setting in the rear right now. The 70/30s strike a good balance between the harsh ride of the 90/10s and the weight transfer you seek. When you go to the track, you should consider front sway bar removal for max weight transfer benefit. It only takes a few mins and will help your 60s. Lakewoods are generally less expensive than CE and Summit offers a good deal on them. Both CE and Lakewood offer products of good quality.

I run the 70/30's and 50/50's they seem to work well and with a mid HP range car 350-450 they seem to keep the front end down a little better. The 90/10 will or could keep the front end to high and cause bad wind resistance, they don't settle as fast.
