What will a new torque conv. FEEL like?

In order to shape up my AOD I'm looking for a convertor thanks to advice from this board. Before I get one, I want to know what I would FEEL from it (daily driving, leaving a stop-light...). Any input is appreciated!
Note- I already have a shift kit and 3.73s

imagine leaving the line at 2500 rpm's instead of 1800 and when you get to 3000 rpm's staying there through 35 and third gear. If your going to do it, change the input shaft and go with a non lockup, it's worth the 1 mile per gallon you loose, and it increases the fun factor a whole bunch. in third, you ram it and it will tach right up to your flash speed, (which should be close to your peak torque). I love mine. I would recommend spending the money and buying a Stallion. They cost a little more but they provide so much more performance then everything else out there. Also when you put the converter in, plan on putting a trans cooler in, they make a big difference.

Got my converter and valve body in last weekend (Lentech). Only driven it a few times but it seems to run well. It does tend to run about 2-300 rpm higher when in od without lockup.
