Thats just about right. My friend who has bbk cold air intake, 65mm throttle body, edlebrock performer intake, no cats, off road H-pipe with flows and dumps, 3.73 gears, T-5 tranny with short throw shifter, a FMS B-cam ran 15 flat in his 89 LX vert. The car sounds great mechanically sound but I don't know what happened. He didn't miss a shift and has been driving a stick since he was 16 and can drive it pretty good. His excuse was having a bad reaction time since it was his first time at the track. You just never know what's wrong with a car and why it wont perform how it needs to. My hint at why his car ran so slow was because the cam starts working when the intake and throttle body are just about to stop working and having too little back pressure. Hopefully he can improve his times but it's never a good idea to blame just the driver. Sometimes cars don't run what you expect them to run like.
