Default What's the best % mix for Antifreeze/Water?

Fluidyne aluminum radiator is on order and should be here by Wednesday. I remember a post saying what the dealer recommends isn’t the best mix, and antifreeze was pretty much just a lubricant. I couldn’t find the post.

thanx

The Fluidyne radiator is in and the temp gauge is 20+ degrees cooler!

The only problem was that I couldn't re-use my upper chrome radiator hose.

It was a direct fit radiator for the factory upper radiator hose but was off by about 1/2 inch.

Anyone run into that problem?

Can a Chrome radiator hose be bent, or would it be damaged. I saw Jegs had a stainless steel flexible universal hose that I may replace it with.
