Whats this noise?? injectrs?

Well i went to the track tonight, h-pipe helped a little, i went 14.1 @97.80, but spun a 2.2 60', anyway i popped the hood to adjust my fan, i noticed a (ticking) noise coming from the engine compartment, it doesnt sound like a rocker or lifter, and motor is running well, could it be injectors? is this normal, it's not really loud, but my h-pipe developed a leak so i was inspecting everything, and every sound.

i Beat a c4 vette

and a ls1 t/a, the t/a driver was horrible though.

If that tick was never there before, I'd say you still may have a little exhaust leak!

thanx for the help, but i narrowed it down to an exhaust leak, i did the "screwdriver to ear" thing and everything is fine, i guess at the track i was torqueing the motor on launches, and the h-pipe came loose a little.
