Unhappy when it rains... it pours

My wife pulled in the drive way last night with our Explorer knocking. LOUD! Now I was wondering spend the 75 bucks to tow it to the dealer or will it make it if I drive that bad boy in? your thoughts?

Is it under warranty? If so, drive it in...If its not under warranty, you better pay the 75 bucks....

Yea I do have it covered by an extended warranty. But she just got it out of the shop 3 weeks ago for tranny problems, and the warranty didn't cover that.

IF THE CAR IS UNDER WARRENTY FORD MAY PAY FOR THE TOWING CALL YOUR DEALER AND ASK. I DONT RECOMEND DRIVING BECAUSE IF IT LOCKS TOTALY UP ITS HARDER TO GET THE ENGINE OUT BECAUSE YOU CANT SPIN THE CRANK TO LOSSEN THE BOLTS..

DID THEY HAVE THE TRANNY OUT?? IT MAY BE AS SIMPLE AS A FLY WHEEL BOLT IS BACKED OUT.

The warranty did is supposed to be bumper to bumper. the tranny needed to be flushed there was oil in the trans fluid. Not covered, human error. Now I just bought this thing 8 mths ago. All I have done is check the levels. Any way the POS is in the shop now. we will see

So your from oceanside? help me eat up all of these stock 4 bangers with 5inch 10,000 rpm tachs with shift lights will ya? I'm gonna start betting for the tach's. Darn rice cakes!
