Question Where can I find engine block machining specs?

I'm thinking of doing my own machine work on a 1974 vintage 351W block I am buying. Is there a way I could machine it myself to accept roller lifters? If so where can I find the specs? Know of any good books?

I have access to CNC mills, lathes, etc. I know there's some stuff I'd have to have the shop do, but I'd like to eliminate as much of the cost as possible.
Thanks.
