fuel gauge went dead..fuel sender?
The fuel gauge on my 86 went dead. I check the wires and Im getting no signal to the gauge. The wiring schematics has a fuel sending unit, but does anyone know where it is? On the tank perhaps? any help is appreciated.

If there's no power to your gauge then the sender is most likely the culprit. I'm always hesitant to say that because Ford doesn't produce the highest quality gauges on the market, but if you can confirm that there's no voltage going to the gauge, check the sender.
