![]() Time to change out my spark plugs! Car turns over like a turtle so this might help. I think they have some splitfires in there now. I've heard these suck for 5.0's, you guys got any suggestions? Thx

I have used Autolite #24's before and have had the best luck with them. Now my Edelbrock heads require a longer reach plug #3924. I also have heard good things about the NKG plugs.

![]() I wouldn't run a Splitfire plug in ANYTHING! A buddy had a Buick Grand National that had those in it when he bought it. When he changed them five of the six had cracked in the v of the ground strap. Another buddy had them in a GM 2.5L 4cly. Thing always smelled like rotten eggs. Changed the plugs and the smell went away and again, three of the four were cracked. My cousin had some in a 2.9L v6 Ranger, again the ground straps cracked but this time one side broke off on one and went through the engine! Definatly not worth what they charge for em.

same here, can find them anywhere. as for platinum there good for those that want to go long time between plug changes. as for a speed shop recommendation: i take there recommendations with a grain of salt cause they usualy recommend something that they carry.
