![]() Does anybody know where I can find a cowl induction hood for a 78 fairmont? I know this is an odd ball but Id rather not have to put on one of those cheesy hood scoops to clear the 351w thats going in it. I dont care if its glass or steel, but nothing taller than 3" THANKS

![]() i have a fairmont also. i ended up using a plastic cowl that gets rivited to the stock hood. then i cut a circle the size of the air cleaner in the hood. if you use bondo over the rivits and edges it doesnt look too bad. otherwise i did find a place that had hoods but they were very expensive. they also had glass trunk lids but for 300$ do a search under ford fairmont on your search engine.
