Default Question about Mach 460

Ok, I've got a friend with a 01 Mustang. I know the Mach 460 sterio has a built in amp, but where is it???

As is it true that the Mach 460 has different ohm speakers than normal. And that he will have to basicly ditch the whole amp, if he want's to replace his speakers with after market ones?
