Who knows Windsors?

I have found a 76 Mustang II with a 351W in it and I want to know if it is worth it to swap any parts between it and my 302HO or if I should swap the whole thing. If just the parts then what is best to swap.

i wouldnt use any of the parts imo - those years when emissions came out everybody went crazy and detuned everything. u'd be lucky if that 351 made 150 hp ..wheres that HO coming from? if its fresh id put it in

...or you could just build up that 351W. You know: roller conversion, stroke and poke, high compression heads and pistons, 4-bbl intake and carb, etc. :D Sounds like a winner there to me. I'd LOVE to have a 351W block, let alone a running one. :(

Am I missing something? I didn't think any of the Mustang II's came with a 351W. It sounds like a swap was done on that car.

If you have the means to do a Windsor swap for your foxbody, you should do it! Overall, it's a better and stronger foundation for making power compared to the 5.0.
