Who makes this cam?
 

Tonight I removed my cam and was looking for some kind of ID that would tell me the brand of the cam. All I could find was "CWC". I'm thinking maybe a Crowler cam??
Any other guesses?

Could be comp cams, crowler, crane or a bunch of others using letters instead of numbers for cam identification.

What is the grind on this, or do you know. Often I can tell the manufacturer by what the grind specs are. Comp Cams will run the same intake and exhaust timing, where Crane will run split timing to scavange off the exhaust.

My cam came from sealed power. It could be mellings, trw, sealed power, or a bunch of others. It is a great street cam. I have my eye on Crane's power max CRN 444551. 226/236 @.50 lift. 502 intake lift 522 exhaust lift. Crane says this makes power from 3-6000 RPM and is a flat hydraulic cam. If you want a roller try the trick flow TFS 51402001 224/236 @.50 and 542/563 lift. They have a cam even larger, but this would need to be a RACE ONLY MOTOR, possibly trailered. It has 574/595 lift, which means special springs, special roller rockers, and possibly a rocker arm stabilizer to keep things square. Definitely not for the feint of heart.
