Default Why do morons work in auto stores? PLEASE HELP!

So I'm going around today trrying to find parts so i can install everything i have sitting in my garage right now. Well no one has a peice of 2 and 7/8 rubber hose, even the hardware stores. All the auto store only carry rubber hose up to one inch in diameter. None of the autoparts stores carry or even know what a K&N 9 inch conical filter is, and when i asked about spark plugs for nitrous applications i got a "Nitrous, thats cool man! I don't know what plugs are though." I mean if you work in an auto parts store, should you know what spark plugs are? I'm left with adapting the new C&L intake to the 65mm throttle body with electrical tape, and could someone please post a part number and brand of what spark plug they use for nitrous. I'm installing Zex brand 75 shot of nitrous and don't want it to detonate on the first run. Today has made my desicion on the personilized license plate, I'm getting "Ih8PPL".

Morons work everywhere, not just parts stores.

Try plumbing supply for hose adapters for your C&L, I know the Impala SS guys make their cold air tubes from Sewer pipes.

Where is O'reilly autoparts store? Here in south jersey we're limited to napa, advanced auto and pep boys. I tried advanced auto and im going to pep boys now for some spark plugs and a haynes controller kit. Maybe ill find a hose. I just got an electric fan from a ford taurus and a rear view mirror for 16 bucks... not bad...

Well i went out today looking for some parts. NO ONE, carries 3 in rubber tubing or anything close to it. Pep boys doesn't have a K&N filter on thier shelf, nor do they have the hayden fan controller unit, or a simple a/c relay. Not only do they not have the controller unit, he told me they don't even list it. Then i pointed it out to him in the little book sitting thier and walked out. On the plus side he did get me some spark plugs. Either way i spent 130 bucks for the controller unit, a a/c relay switch and a K&N air filter, all on special order that will be here later in the week.
