![]() can you use a 22 ounce flywheel in place of a 28 ounce with a 351w and a t5 if so what clutch do u use the stock 5.0 one and what is the o.e.m for the 22 ounce flywheel thanks i need the cheapest flywheel that i can get for this swap

![]() I was mistaken...it is a 28 oz flywheel but they are different for AT and for a manual trans.
$25 at a junkyard. That's what I did. Just check the teeth to make sure none are missing or chipped off All 351W had 28 oz flywheel, also you'll need to get a Harmonic balancer for the 351 or you will have severe vibration ------------------ Mike Wigton 89 LX 351W 64 1/2 Convertible [This message has been edited by wiggy (edited 06-04-2001).] |
