Default will d8oe-ab heads fit a 87-93 302 block?

Is there any mods that need to be done to get them to fit and function correctly, also what kind of studs to use, and the type of roller rockers to fit?

They are a direct bolt on, but I've gotta ask... why? They are 69cc combustion chamber heads with small valves.

Take care,

****! Are you thinking about bolting what appears to be Mustang II heads onto a roller 5.0 block???

Why? You do know the Mustang II 302 made only 139hp@3600rpm and 248lb/ft@1800 right? Those heads are horrible!

I don't know dude. The port velocity could be very screwed. I guess you can try, but those heads were never meant with any kind of performance in mind.

the only good thing ive seen them used for is turbo or nitrous to lower the compression ratio.

I ported out a set and they flowed ok .

whats wrong with the heads on the motor right now ?

they are stock and they wont go with the 347 stroker kit im buying. Im on a tight budget and can get the heads assembled and on for about $150. Then when i get some real money ill go with aluminum.
