Cool 91LX2Bfast

91LX2Bfast,

Did you happen to see the December issue of MM&FF? Pages 144-146 feature a sweet 94 Thunderbird that might give you some ideas. I don't know how similar the 94's are to the 97's (though this guy definately doesn't have it stock anyway) but there might be something of interest in it for you. Just thought you might want to know.

Yes, I saw that. That is one sweet Tbird. I love the ride and interior comfort of the Tbird's, although they are about 500lbs heavier then a Stang. Once I get my first stage of mods done, thats all I am gonna do untill summer so I can save some money. I am in college so budget is tight. I will be getting my exhaust done over winter break, along w/ a custom chip, shift kit, tranny cooler, and maybe some gears. That should put me in the low 15's. Then in summer I hope to add the PI heads and MAC 73.66mm TB.

Actually, my father is looking for a '98 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC so we can turn it into a hot rod lincoln. He was going to buy a Lightning, but he loves the ideas of Cobra performance in Lincoln luxury. It comes stock w/ a 4.6 4V 290HP, and if you saw that one in MM&FF a while back, thats what mods were going to put on it. Hey, a mid 13sec Mark VIII is going to be a blast!!!
