![]() I'm not driving my car right now, but I need it running to move it around while I work on it. The car has been sitting for a few months and a few months before that, I replaced the fuel pump with a 155lph unit. I wanted to use an adjustable pressure regulator, but never got around to it. Here's my question. I'm not working on the motor/fuel delivery system yet. I'm doing suspension, rear, brakes and trans first. I know I need a new regulator because of the gasoline smell I was experiencing after the new pump went in. The car runs as is, but I'd prefer to buy a $20 stock regulator for the time being. Would this correct my problem or is the stock regulator too weak??
