will the tall motorsport valve covers fit with a 3/8 inch spacer

3/8" might work with a stock intake. I am not sure, but I do know that with my GT-40 intake I had to go to a 1" spacer, and that is still pretty close.

Nope, I had two 1" spacers for my GT-40 and still didn't fit. The throttle linkage hits the pass valve cover..

Not sure about it with a stock intake. But I have a peformer RPM intake and a 3/8 spacer and tall valve covers. I had to cut my throttle cable bracket up a little bit to make it fit, but it does fit.
