Another comment, you said the driveshaft was twisted. The pump stopped.....
You need to find out why. Did it eat up some valve seal pieces?? Is there mucho sludge in the engine??

You have said several times that you "cleaned out" the oil pan. What did you clean out?? If the motor is maintained, regular oil changes, there really shouldn't be anything in the pan, but old oil.

What kind of "stuff" do you have in the pan?? There is your problem.

Always get a new pickup. It's cheap insurance.
