![]() i was wondering what year my heads are ?...I have to re-torque the head bolts and don't know what years my 5.0 engine is the car has no mass air on the harness..? so i thought it was 88 or 87 ,..but the head bolts have a shoulder on them, and in the manual it says only 93 came with shouldered head bolts .. in short what should I torque my head bolts to?????

![]() Torque settings usually depend on the size of the head bolt. I have 1/2" bolts which are torqued to 100 ft-lbs. 7/16" bolts are about 70-80 ft-lbs. Do it in steps. 30, then 50, then the final.
