Question ? for you exhaust experts!

I've pretty much decided on a MAC exhaust system. I have a few questions, knowing I'll be adding a blower next year: long tubes or short tubes, and why? And, off-road or cat-back, and why? Will I FEEL either of these mods? Thanks for your input!

Long tubes produce a little more torque down low *down low shimmy*. Do you have emmissions testing in your state (sniffer)? If you have stock exh. now, you should feel it!

No emmissions in my county. So would you use off-road in that case? Would that give me any extra hp over a cat-back system?

Get the long tubes, and the off-road. Sounds alot better and alot more free flowing and cheaper. I love mine!

i have all Mac exhaust..get the long tubes if your adding a blower..the long tubes are harder to install but will pay off in the long run..and if you dont have emissions go with the off road H pipe..and the Mac cat back system...sounds awsome

Cool

If you go with full length (which you should) consider BBK's they are a lot easier to install. You should also go with an off-road x-pipe and I'd say a Mac pro-dump cat back. This combo will have a great sound and make awesome power. Hope this helps!

Theres a world of difference between what exhaust systems sound like on 5.0's and our modular brothers. It might sounds horrible on your buddys 01GT but might sound wicked on a 5.0 and vice versa. Only way the find out is to test it.

Yeah, but I have dealer plates on my car and don't have to have E-check. Thats the nice thing about having them. It will pass anyway if I unplug a injector.
