Default Your plug gap! Quick reply needed!!

Ok i am trying to get my new motor dialed in and was wondering what you guys found successful as a gap? I am running carb....my setup is in my sig

Well you dont list what ignition you are using, but I dont think you will see any difference between .030 and .045.

I am using a stock early 80's ignition right now, cause my mallory fried for no reason . I tryed 46 and i robbed low end power. 36 seems good. But it is still running rich at idle . I am running 70-front jet and 72-back jets. Too high? and my powervalve is a 5
