Default 347 331 rod bold clearance

any of u guys clearance you block or usally have a machine shop do it

347 stroker all forged,arp everything,stud mains w/girdle,7qt pan,full roller, custom cam, aluminum heads swirl valves 5 angle valve job.holley pump w/carter pump,cobras w/nitto drags,and m/t et drags for the track, ford racing 373 gears,centerforce clutch,rebuilt world class t5,underdrive pulleys,bassani x-pipe,flowmasters,eibach lowering springs/shocks/struts/swaylinks/swaybar, dvd player and 1,000 watt system

I had a machine shop do my current block because they assembled it. Sharp edges and points in the cast iron create weak spots, be sure to round off all modified surfaces. Good luck.

On a factory 5.0 block you won't need to with a 331 kit. Seems like a DSS block you will.

About all 347 kits will.

It takes about 30 minutes to do it. Of course if you have to buy the bits to do it, its probably a wash letting the shop do it.

i have all the carbide bits just have to order the kit
