Default 86 GT for 1500

hi im new to the message board, and im looking at a 86 GT 5 speed thats for sale for 2k i talked him down to 1500 and it has no motor or trans in the car but there is a fresh rebuilt 302 with a 650 cfm carb on an engine stand that comes with the car along with the trans, exhaust driveshaft and everything else, so basically the whole car but in pieces. My question is does this sound like a good deal? o yea and the body is in very good shape for its age a little serface rust on a few places but no serious body rot.

-thanks
