Re: cam help with 2.02 valves!! your engine has notched pistons but the notches are not bigg enough for a 202 valve.i think a 190 valve is the biggest with stock pistons.you can buy a tool from isky that cuts a bigger notch in the piston but idk how bad it will mess the balance for the motor.even if you can fit a small cam in it the heads are way big for a 302 thats only reving to 6200.on top of that u better have a good intake t-body massair and exhaust to move the air in and out of the heads.i personally would spend the money on building the 408 .it would be a waste to buy a cam that will be useless to u when ur gonna have to but on for a new motor.the only other thing i can tell you is to take ur old head off and put one of the 210 heads on and use clay to check on how much clearance u have with the stock cam must be .100 or higher
