Default Performance chip "help"

I have an 02 gt. I just bought a performance chip that splices into the temp. sensor but which wire do i splice into red & grey or green & red

That's not a performance chip. That's a gimmick to fool the EEC/PCM into thinking the engine is still cold so that it remains in the cold strategy mode. It does nothing for performance.
