![]() I've been talking to some people who have put a 2.3L Turbo from a 83-88 ThunderBird Turbo Coupe in their 2.3L Stang. I was wondering if anyone on here has done it and if so what kind of problems they ran into/How difficult it was? Most people have told me it's really easy but the wireing is kind of hard.

![]() it is sooo ez. I can help you.
The wiring isn't too bad you only need to things from the turbo wiring harness, the boost control solenoid and the vat/vaf, those are only six wires which you splice into your n/a 2.3l's wiring harness. As for actually putting the engine in, it is a bolt right in kinda deal. The best engine to get would be from an 87-88 2.3T these have the IHI turbo and makes 200hp. If you need more info let me know. also check out this site www.turboford.org |
