Default 3.8L fuel injection?

I have a 3.8 Mustang I have heard that it is possible to take the intake and thottle body off a85 T Bird and install it on the Mustang. Looking for anyone who has knowledge of what is all involved or if it is even possible.

You didn't say what year Mustang you have, but the '85 Tbird had a CFI intake. This is just about the worst combination for power and driveability Ford ever made. I wouldn't recommend it.

I have a 98 V6 3.8L and I just installed an upper intake and throttle body from a 97 Areostar. The Aerostar has the same setup but produces 200HP. I had a marked improvement in preformance. I also changed my rear end to a 3.27, installed 1.73 roller rockers, cold air induction, and a short stroke shifter by Hurst (I'm not sure I like it yet).

I am assuming that you didn't get anywhere near 200 HP with just putting on the upper intake and throttle body from the 97 Areostar did you? How much performace do you think you gained?
