4 cyl to 6 cyl?
 

someone please help! I have an 85 LX that had a 4 cyl in it, I am now trying to put a 6 cyl from an 83 conv. in. Everything seems to match up except for the distributor, what do I do? and do I need to change the wiring harness?

This is exactly what we need to do to my Son's '86. According to the manual it looks like the wiring harness from the firewall forward needs to be swapped but we haven't tried it yet. Let me know what you find out.

someone told me that you don't have to change the wiring harness, just splice some wires together. Hopefully, I will know exactly what he is talking about in two weeks or less.
