86' svo

I HAVE A FRIEND WHO HAS AN 86' SVO WHOSE ENGINE LOSES POWER EVERY TIME THE CAR IS UNDER HEAVY ACCELERATON AND THE BOOST GETS AROUND 10 PSI. OTHERWISE THE CAR DRIVES AND RUNS JUST FINE. CAN ANYONE OFFER AN IDEA OF WHAT THE PROBLEM MIGHT BE?
