Thats pretty cool. Might have to give it a try sometime..That will prob make my strobes flash brighter too!!

now you got another buddy that did it, i just did it a couple hours ago and it looks better than even those aftermarket clear corner lights, its pretty easy to do, just gotta take your time and not crack the housing taking it all apart (like me )

hey guys after i read this post i went out and did this to my car hay its free why not do it if it looks good and its free.
But for the guys that cant get their light covers to come apart here is what i did first i took small swiss army kinfe and a hammer and gently pried the cover and the backing apart they are some how melted to gether or some thing.Yeah on my forst light i had a couple of cracks and chips but after that the next one was easy to do. and after you pry the cover and the backing apart just bust the amber plastic piece out and glue the cover and the backing back together with some good quality glue that is strong and let it dry and put them back on your car. My car looks better with them on hope that the people that also do this have good luck thanks to the guy who let us all know that we could do this. |
