Air Conditioning

Does anyone else notice a substantial loss in power in the V6 stangs when the AC is running? Mine seems to be a real dog when the AC is on.

i havent noticed a huge loss, but a little because your a/c pulley has to spin when its on so thats taking some power away.

I dont notice any drop in our 97 v6 convertible. A little drop is common though. My 4 cylinder ranger feels like it loses about 50 horsepower with a/c on though.

I have a 97 V6 and I notice a loss of power when my AC is on. Unfortunately, in NM i can't just roll down my windows, AC is a must.

Thanks for the info. I was just worried that it was only MY mustang that lost power with AC.
