|  Air Silencer Question I have read several messages about removing the air silencer to improve engine performance. My car is an '88 2.3L with the five-speed. Where is the silencer and how do I remove it? Will I notice a significant difference in performance? What kind of sound will I hear with the silencer removed? I really don't want to hear that irritating loud buzzing-type noise I hear from some four-bangers (not Mustangs) when they accelerate hard past my house.  |
