Any Suggestions??

I just got my '90 LX....The body is great, Nice paint, 77,000 miles. The only problem I have is that it had no pick up...I got beaten by a Honda! Any suggestions to give my car some more pep?...I dont have alot of cash, I am in college now and money is tight.
Thanks Alot!!!

Split fire plugs, K & N filter charger, Headers, Dual exhaust

contact www.racerwalsh.com for a catalog.

with the dual exhaust i felt a diff immed..but the cost factor would be around 400 bucks...if you could install yourself headers would go for $140.00....combine both and you've added a major kick.

The split fires are a big waste of $$$ go with copper plugs for power. PLAT plugs for long life..

split fires also can burn out some ignition components. as for headers and dual exaughst that is a waste too. just port your exaughst manifold and get a good flowing muffler, you may want to remove your cats (if you can get away with it) also you can port/polish your upper/lower air intake manifold, remove air-silencer, bump timing up. and 3.73 gears these would be the best investment.

But in my own opinion just drop a 2.3L turbo in there. I am doing this with my 88lx got the engine and everything needed to make it run for $500 and it bolts right in and it can run with the 5.0's
