switching a manual for an automatic
I have a 1965 Mustang that is a three speed. I would like to switch it to an automatic and I would like to know if this is possible. If anyone knows how to do this please contact me.

Anything is possible with a little imagination. Lucky this one is basically a no brainer in that catagory. You should be able to drop an auto in there. you didn't say what engine you had in your 65'. If you have one of the v8 cars then a c4 or an AOD will work. If you have a 6cyl, than i think they used something like a ford-o-matic or something like that( i could be wrong on that one) Go and talk to your local stang shop, and they will be able to tell you every thing you'll need.
